You Don’t Have To You Get To!!!

I come from a discipleship program whose motto is “Trained To Serve Jesus 24/7″! We’ve lived by the credo, “You don’t have to – You get to!!!” for many years! So when I heard “Pas” (my loving expression of respect as taught by this discipleship group and which I’ve taught many others to use for Pastor) use this expression, I knew I was in the right place! I haven’t heard it for a while at High Point but I know it’s still at the heart of our worship. I just want to say that if pastor or anyone that you know has asked you to do something hard for the kingdom of God, simply look within yourself and ask if this is not in your heart. Then say out loud – I don’t have to – I get to!!! http://thenowhiningblog.blogspot.com http://setfreetexas.wordpress.com -  This post is being posted as it first appeared on the http://ilovehighpointchurch.wordpress.com blog this morning, with the exception of this notice!!!  Thanks TKR

If You're Praising You Can't Be Whining

When you have a thankful heart and you are considering all of the things that you have to be grateful for it makes it impossible to cry and complain.  When you know that the creator of the universe cared enough about you to come to the earth in the form of a man to give you eternal life and take you out of every backsliding and trouble that you every got into, then you realize that you have everything to be grateful for and you can open you're mouth in praise to Him.  While you are praising Him it's impossible to whine.  Praise the King!!!

Whaa! Whaa! Whaa!

Whaaa!  Whaaa!  Whaaa! - Stop that!! This blog is designed with thankful people in mind.  Let us know what we can do to award the most thankful people who follow us?!  We are serious about rewarding those who don't whine and about bringing open disgrace to those who do! We will show mercy because you can't have truth without mercy and it is bound about our necks and written on the tables of our hearts!  God bless James Usherly and Gerald Beene at Fry's Electronics in Arlington Texas - We are grateful for these two guys!!!

I mean it - No Whining!!!

I am thankful for my little bitty kitchen and my itsy bitsy room.  First off because it is not a bridge underpass or a cardboard box or a Suzuki sedan.  The room has a warm bed and a heater and a/c.  It has lights and a TV and cable of a sort. It is warm when it is cold outside and I don't have to park it in a truck stop.  I don't have to park it at a roadside park or get arrested for parking it in the street or in a public park, where would be criminals and perverts have made it impossible for me to do safely, without getting arrested for sleeping and have the police tow it to the impound and cost me hundreds of dollars that I didn't have in the first place or I wouldn't have been sleeping with my dog in the car.  I would have at least been sleeping in a room as nice as the one I'm sleeping in.  I've also learned that to not be thankful for what I have right now disqualifies me for being thankful for the transition that God and I have prepared for me.  Incidentally, this kind of hope and this kind of faith is exactly what got me from underneath the bridge to the nice itsy bitsy room that I'm in right now.  So I want to thank God for the nice large house that he is preparing for me to move into soon.  I thank him that it has everything that my itsy bitsy room has in amenities and bells and whistles and then some. I thank him that it is paid for and it will not get me or anyone that is associated with it into debt but help us to get free from debt and take us a step closer to our goal of financial independence.  God you are so awesome - Thanks!!!
Now let me thank you for my health, food, transportation and communication devices like my phone, the us mail, and my computer and internet connection.  I want to thank you for all of the hard work that everyone that made these things possible have done to make them possible!  Again God you are awesome!! And again I say - Do not whine or complain around me!!!   I have my health and lots of wonderful friends and family and don't you dare whine or complain about one of them!!  Even if you are one of them.  They all require the grace and love of God to enable them to have what they need to get through and to be thankful for all of the blessings that they have. So don't hinder that by being spoiled and ungrateful or complaining and whining like a little girl!  Please leave your comments - but don't whine!!!  So much to be thankful for!  Stop back in to see how awesome God is continuing to be or to leave a comment about what He's doing in your life!  Thanks TKR

NO WHINING!!!
